I am really excited to be representing Castle Point as the selected Parliamentary Candidate for the next General Election.

Castle Point deserves better than the Conservatives.

I am passionate about both education and improving outcomes for those less fortunate in society. I gave up owning a car two years ago and choose to use public transport to help reduce my carbon footprint. I have campaigned for free home to school transport for the 16-18 age group. I have also campaigned against closure of Children's Centres and cuts to Youth Services. Education can offer unparalleled opportunities, but for too many young people it often closes doors and shuts down opportunities. As we look forward to celebrating 150 years of State Schooling in 2020, we must ensure we offer the best start in life for everyone. I stand for a fair inclusive society and as an experienced campaigner and lifelong Liberal Democrat I passionately believe that Castle Point deserves better. I am very much looking forward to working with and meeting members in the coming months.
